Venice Notary

Mobile Notary in Venice, CA — We Come to You, 24/7

Venice packs a lot into a few square miles: canal-side homes, creative offices, busy boardwalk businesses and quiet residential streets a block from the beach. The OC Notary is a mobile notary service that travels to Venice — to homes, studios, offices and nearby care facilities — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We have served Orange County and West LA since 2001, and Venice is part of our West LA service area. Call 714-253-7618 to book an appointment. This page is part of our Los Angeles County coverage; see that hub for nearby Marina del Rey and Santa Monica pages as well.

Notary Services Venice Clients Book

Venice clients call us for loan signings and real estate closings — purchases, refinances and seller packages for homes, condos and income properties — and for estate-planning signings, including trusts, powers of attorney and advance health care directives. We also handle apostille documents for Venice residents with paperwork headed abroad, embassy and consulate legalization, document recording and retrieval, and translation services. Creative professionals and small businesses around Abbot Kinney Boulevard, Main Street and the Windward Circle area book us for business and personal documents, and families book us for school, travel and medical paperwork that needs a notarized signature.

Where We Meet You in Venice

Because we travel, the appointment happens wherever the signer is: a house on the Venice Canals, an apartment near the boardwalk, a co-working desk or studio in the Silicon Beach corridor, an escrow or title office on the Westside, or a quiet corner table if that is what the day allows. We cover Oakwood, the streets around Rose Avenue and Lincoln Boulevard, and the residential blocks between the beach and Centinela. When you book, share the exact address, any gate codes or parking notes, and whether stairs or building entry will need a few extra minutes — Venice parking is famous for a reason, and a heads-up keeps everything on schedule.

Hospital & Care Facility Notarizations

If a family member is in a hospital, rehab or care facility in or near Venice, we come to the bedside for powers of attorney, health care directives and other urgent documents. Our hospital notary page explains how families book, what identification a patient needs, and why arranging witnesses ahead of time matters. A $40 facility fee applies in addition to the travel fee.

How to Prepare for Your Appointment

Every signer needs valid, government-issued photo ID — check our ID requirements page before we arrive. Leave documents that will be notarized unsigned until the notary is present to witness the signature. If your documents come from an attorney, lender or escrow company, confirm with them beforehand who must sign and whether witnesses are required, and have the complete document set ready so the appointment runs in one visit.

A Local Appointment, Not a Trip Across Town

The whole point of a mobile notary is that Venice traffic, parking and beach crowds are our problem, not yours. Instead of driving to an office across town and waiting in line, you pick the place and time, and we come to you — early morning before work, midday between meetings, evenings and weekends included. For multi-signer appointments, such as a couple signing a trust or a family completing health care paperwork together, one visit can cover everyone at the same table.

Fees Snapshot

Notarization is $15 per notarized signature through December 31, 2026. Travel within our service area is $100; hospital or care facility appointments are $40; weekend service is $40; after-hours rates apply for early-morning, evening and overnight appointments. Apostille service is $300 for the first document and $100 for each additional document. See the complete Fees & Payment page for details.
